Throughout the season, you can camp at Maple Leaf Park on specific dates, weekends, and weeks. Camping here is popular with individuals and families (reservations recommended). It’s also ideal for groups who appreciate the retreat-like setting and areas reserved for exclusive use—all or part of the 28-acre park can be reserved, including two pavilions with electric service.
Maple Leaf Park offers all the conveniences campers expect, from showers to campsite firewood delivery. Many sites are located among the trees lining Big Indian Creek.
Fishing our spring-fed lake is not to be beat—and license is provided without charge. The lake is stocked with large and small mouth bass, catfish, hybrid bluegills, and rock bass. Bring your own equipment and tackle, but for your convenience, we sell bait. Cast from banks or bring your small boat.
Many of our fishermen practice catch and release allowing fish to grow to state record sizes. In April, Maple Leaf Park honors the Bluegill, the Official State fish, by expanding hours and days for fishing and providing a certified scale to weigh and document catches that may qualify for a State award.
