Ed Allen’s Campground and Cottages is a family-owned campground located along the beautiful shores of Chickahominy Lake. Come to a tranquil, 85 acre shaded retreat featuring some of Virginia’s finest camping, fishing, recreation, and diverse wildlife.
Try your luck on our two fully stocked ponds located in the campground, or one of Virginia’s greatest fishing retreats, the Chickahominy Lake. We offer large shaded overnight, weekly, monthly and seasonal sites.

From the North, South or West:
Take I-95 or I-295 to I-64 East to Exit 214 (Providence Forge)
At bottom of exit ramp turn right onto Route 155 South
Go four miles to stoplight at Providence Forge
Turn left at light onto US 60 East
Go approximately five miles and make a right onto Route 649/Rockahock Road
Campground entrance is first road on right
From the East:
Take I-64 West to Exit 227
Turn left onto Route 30
Go to first stop light and make a right onto US 60 heading West
Go approximately seven miles
Turn left onto Route 649/Rockahock Road
