Juniata River Valley
Located in the heart of Central Pennsylvania, the Juniata River Valley offers breathtaking landscapes and hometown hospitality at its very best. Just 45 minutes from State College and Penn State University, downtown Lewistown is home to quaint shops, fabulous restaurants, historic sites, and some of the most fun-filled community festivals in the Alleghenies.
The past is always present along the trails, roadways and waterways that wind through the rolling countryside of this historic region. These are the lands where the Juniatas once hunted and trapped, a revolution was fought, lumbering was king and iron furnaces roared as settlers came to build their homes and farms and make this scenic valley home.
