Andersonville National Historic Site
Civil War era prisoner of war camp, cemetery, and museum. Abundantly rich in history, the site includes 13,669 graves, a partial reconstruction of the prison stockade of the Confederate "Camp Sumter" and a Civil War Museum. This is a MUST SEE for history buffs.
Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter
Hosting a multitude of events every week. From animal events of every kind to computer, knife, and gun shows plus rodeos, circus and of course the fabulous Georgia National Fair every October this state of the art facility will leave you longing for your next visit. The 628 acre site is open all year and located at the same exit as Fair Harbor RV Park.
Robins Air Museum
Acres and square feet of planes and more. Warner Robins, Georgia is home to the fastest growing military aviation museum in the Southeast. Tours of this incredible facility are available from mid-May to mid-August. Take a self-guided tour of the most modern peach packing operation on the East Coast. You will enjoy a fascinating view of the peach packing process from an elevated platform that extends the entire length of the operation. Ample parking for RVs is available.
Hay House, The Palace of the South
Located in Macon, Georgia The Hay House is a National Historic Landmark. It was built from 1855-1859 and is one of the finest houses to survive from ante-bellum America. Elegant and sophisticated in its design, the Italian Renaissance Revival mansion contains 18,000 square feet on four levels crowned by a three story cupola.
