The endless river traffic of the Mississippi is the main attraction at TOM SAWYER’S. The atmosphere is relaxed, laid back and peaceful while the RV Park is clean, well maintained and totally natural. The view of the sun rising over The Mississippi River is rivaled only by the full moon rising in the fall. Plenty of trails and wildlife compliment the nicely mowed fields and long, level concrete sites. Across the River is unspoiled Tennessee flood plain and just one bend upstream is the Memphis skyline. If it’s fishing you are looking for then look no further since we have a lake and two ponds stocked with an amazing array of fish. Directions to: 1286 South 8th Street West Memphis Arkansas Tom Sawyer’s is only a few very convenient miles on a smooth, new road from both I-40 and I-55 as well as 15 minutes from all the great action in a resurgent Downtown Memphis or 25 minutes from Graceland if you’ve never been! Getting here is easy! I-40 WEST, exit 280, turn left onto MLK Dr. I-40 EAST, exit 280, turn right onto MLK Dr. I-55 SOUTH, exit 4, turn right onto MLK Dr. I-55 North, exit 3B, left at light onto S. Loop Drive ~2.5 miles, left at 4-way stop to go over levee . . . and YOU'RE HERE! Facilities and Amenities: Our RV sites are long easy access pull-throughs with 30 and 50 AMP power, city water and city sewer. You have the choice of either a concrete or level gravel site. We do have several back-in sites for those visitors who like a lot of shade. We also have tent sites available. We are pet friendly with plenty of nature trails and open fields to walk your dog. Our restrooms have showers and are clean and well kept. We provide laundries and wireless internet at no additional charge to our guests. All taxes are included with our prices. We have completed 21 new pull-through riverfront sites designed specifically for 5th Wheels. The large 5th Wheel rear window and right hand awning side of the unit face the panoramic view of the mighty Mississippi River. Please call ahead to reserve these sites. Tom Sawyer’s RV Park now offers 100 full service (30/50 amp, city water and sewer) sites in three different sections on the lovely, unspoiled Arkansas bank of the Mississippi River. Over 80 of the sites are long level pull-throughs with almost half of those concrete. We just completed two brand new top quality bathhouses with beautiful totally free laundries in each building. Our upgraded broadband Wi-Fi is also free of charge as are all the fish you can haul out of our stocked lake and ponds or even the Mississippi River if you’re talented. You can hike several miles of nicely mown trails or relax and play cards with friends in our kitchenetted meeting room. Best of all, everywhere you go at Tom Sawyer’s RV Park, even our wheel chair accessible TREEHOUSE snack bar, affords you terrific views of the mighty Mississippi and all the barge and boat traffic cruising up and down river. Tom Sawyer’s RV Park is the perfect, relaxing home base for your group while exploring downtown Memphis, The Peabody Hotel duck parade and Beale Street music scene are only a ten minute drive over the bridges. Nostalgic members can travel the short drive south to visit Graceland while the lucky ones can continue just a little further to the Tunica Casinos for all the shows or action they want.
