As the most centrally located RV Park in Corpus Christi, our guests have found our location to be just perfect for ‘the best of both worlds’; a terrific urban park in a quiet neighborhood setting in the heart of Corpus Christi, yet only about a mile and a half from our beautiful downtown area, business district, the Bayfront and Marina, Whataburger Field, the Cultural Arts District, and the Port of Corpus Christi. We are a short drive to IH-37, so most urban comforts and city amenities are conveniently located to us, such as shopping, business, banking, transportation, dining, and many entertainment venues.

From I-83 S. take St. Rd. 581 to I-81 N. and exit Marysville Rts 11/15 north. Then go 18 miles, and the campground is on the right. From turnpike exit in Harrisburg: take I-83 N. to I-81 S. and exit 22/322 Lewistown. Stay on Hwy. 22/322 to Hwy. 11/15 exit Selinsgrove and go 11 miles to campground. From I-80: take Hwy. 15 south to Hwy. 11/15. From here, you are 30 miles to the campground.

Art Museum of South Texas
Standing out from surrounding buildings because of its unique exterior design, the Museum has always been a landmark on Corpus Christi’s bay. Now with an expanded cafe area and museum store. the permanent collection alone has over 1300 paintings, sculptures, prints, collages, drawings, mixed media, ceramics, textiles, and more. Take a tour through this stunning facility, admiring the over 1000 different artists represented. With a particular focus on the American West, this museum will spark your imagination.
Texas State Aquarium
This huge aquarium hosts several resident birds of prey — including their Bald Eagle, Grace, You can experience everything from sea turtles to dolphins, sting rays, hawks, and creatures of the Amazon rain forest. You’ll be able to touch many a harmless creature, and you’ll be protected by thick glass and steel from those who aren’t. Watch as the piranhas devour their food in seconds and the playful otters swim about their enclosure. The whole family will enjoy a trip to this state-of-the-art aquarium.
USS Lexington Museum
This was once an aircraft carrier in the United States Navy, but now it’s a museum for your entertainment! A new flight simulator was installed recently, allowing you to virtually pilot a fighter jet as it takes off, battles the enemy, and returns to the Lexington. It also boasts a three story tall MEGA THEATER where they show historical movies and footage of everything from fighter pilot, to Lewis and Clark. The “Lady Lex” is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This will be a great stop for the whole family to enjoy. Open year round, except for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Ships of Christopher Columbus
Step back into history when you go aboard three replicas of Christopher Columbus’s ships, the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria. See the story of the region unfold as you explore Corpus Christi history and its unique maritime past. You’ll learn all about early European exploration as you take a guided tour of the ships Pinta and Santa Maria. The children’s wharf is intended for children ages 3-7 and their parents, because the exhibits there can be damaged by older kids.
American Bank Convention Center
The American Bank Convention Center, formerly known as Bayfront Plaza Convention Center, hosts a wide variety of Corpus Christi entertainment, sports and events. It is the home of the CHL Corpus Christi Rayz hockey team, the NCAA Texas A&M Islanders basketball team and the AFL Corpus Christi Sharks arena football team.
Whataburger Field
Whataburger Field is the home of the AA minor league Corpus Christi Hooks baseball team and evokes a ballpark of the “Golden Era of Baseball” and pays homage to the location’s past as a cotton warehouse while offering modern facilities and services that include: the Driscoll Children’s Hospital Kids Zone playground, the Stripes Diamond youth-sized baseball field, a SportCourt basketball court, a 27' high rock wall, the APEX Pool and Spa, and much more.

The South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in Corpus Christi is the premier facility displaying the native and adapted flora and fauna of the Texas Gulf Coast. Britton-Evans Centennial House
The Centennial House, the oldest existing structure in Corpus Christi, was built by Mexican War veteran Captain Forbes Britton between 1849 and 1850 and is the premier example of masonary classic revival architecture on the Gulf Coast of Texas. It operated as a Confederate hospital during the Civil War and as a Federal Army hospital in 1866. It housed citizen refugees during desperado and Indian raids in the 1870s. George Evans purchased the home in 1880 and lived there until 1936, when it was purchased by the Southern Mineral Corporation. Today it is totally refurbished and offers visitors a chance to look at antique furnishing from a variety of historic periods.
Heritage Park
Heritage Park is a cultural center for Corpus Christi and features nine Victorian-era homes. The homes are operated by non-profit organizations and special tours are led by volunteers. The Galván House is a national award-winning center offering a wide variety of programs that shines the light on the artistic and cultural diversity of Corpus Christi and beyond.
