Allow me to be your guide to the wonderful accommodations, activities and attractions of this resort in the beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch Country!
Lake-In-Wood Camping Resort is "home to the gnomes" because it is a friendly place, built to suit the lifestyles of today's campers (even the knee-high ones). From a weekend in your tent to a season in their deluxe park models, this resort becomes a treasured "Home Away from Home!"
We gnomes are experienced "full-time" campers. After living under mushrooms, in hollow trees and the like for many years, it's nice to finally enjoy resort-quality facilities.
Campsites
For RV campers like me, Lake-In-Wood offers 350 wooded or open sites. Big rigs are welcome at their pull-thru sites. These spacious campsites accommodate even my new oversized "motorized carriage" and I never worry about banging slideouts with my neighbors.
Most sites feature full hookups, including 20/30/50 AMP electric and cable television. I keep my computer connected to this electronic World Wide Web with the resort's available phone/modem hookups and their free on site Secure Wi-Fi Internet service, TENGO.
Amenities
If you're like some of my younger brethren and like a "back to basics" tent camping experience, the resort features many rustic tenting sites.
No matter how you choose to camp, be it by RV, tent or one of the resort's unique rentals, you'll enjoy nature's beauty in the heart of Pennsylvania's Dutch Country.
It's easy for me to keep my cupboards stocked with visits to their Trading Post. I can also rent a golf cart, bike, Fun Cycle or Joy Rider and sign out any athletic equipment I might want. In exchange, I often drop off some of my handiwork that you can buy as souvenirs.
Keeping my cap clean is a snap at the modern laundry facility. I appreciate the clean-as-a-whistle restrooms and hot showers (like I said, I used to live under mushrooms, so you can just imagine...). There are 2 dump and air stations on the grounds for your convenience.
Activities
Your camping vacation at Lake-In-Wood Camping Resort will be filled with the kind of family activities you will enjoy and remember a lifetime.
The resort-quality facilities offer a wide array of sports, recreation and leisure opportunities. Anglers will enjoy excellent fishing. Putt through the beautiful mini-golf and challenging chucker golf courses. Get active with games of softball, basketball or volleyball - or just take it easy with a little shuffleboard or quoits.
At Lake-In-Wood you can leave your gear at home because they have plenty of recreational equipment. Athletic gear is available for checkout at the Trading Post. Get out on the pristine resort waters with a rental rowboat or pedalboat. If your entertainment pastimes require wheels, there are rental bicycles, golf carts, and unique Fun Cycles & Joy Riders available.
Get back to nature and keep in top shape with a hike on the Total Fitness World Trail. Kids can explore their imaginary adventures at two fun playgrounds. Activities include a recreation room, an in-ground pool table, ceramic classes, movie nights and bingo every Friday night. Bring the family together for hay rides, fire engine rides or any of our scheduled events!

Turn right onto Rt. 272N. Drive 1 1/2 miles to traffic light. Turn right onto 897S. Travel 2 miles. Take first left after you cross over the Turnpike (2nd bridge over 4 lane highway) Lauschtown Rd. Go 2 1/2 miles to Rt. 625 and follow the signs.
EXIT 298 MORGANTOWN PA TURNPIKE
Rt. 10S. 1 mile to 23W. 23W 7 1/2 miles to 625N. 4 1/2 miles to Oaklyn Dr. Stay on Oaklyn for 1 mile and turn on Yellow Hill Rd. Follow Yellow Hill Rd. 1 1/2 miles to campground.
