Desert Palms is an over-55 Winter RV Resort with both involvement opportunities and relaxation opportunities. There is an active social program for your choosing and large 40" x 55' sites with 7' x 21' cement patio pads. Two miles of 26' wide paved roads insure a comfortable entry and exit. Weather is relatively warm in winter although we cannot avoid weather patterns imposed on us by Mother Nature. At 2000 feet in the Sanoran Desert, Salome is quite temperate during the winter.

Desert Palms is a quality RV Resort at a reasonable price that is considered a top RV Resort by Trailer Life evaluators who list us in the top 300 of the 12,000 parks they evaluate nationwide. Our major physical attractions include large 40' x 55' graveled sites with 7' x 19' cement patios, 2 miles of paved roads that are 26' wide to make access to your site an easy task, a heated pool and spa during winter months, a 4 acre green grass executive golf course, a canopy area for tenant or caravan parties, and trailerless access for ATVs accessing adjoining trail-rich BLM lands. We feature a clubhouse with a crafts room, a game/pool room, a laundry with new front loading washers, an assembly room, a small commercially certified kitchen, and an room dedicate to housing an extensive fictional library for which we have received accolades. Desert Palms has the first recycling facility of any RV park in the nation. We have built a facility so tenants can separate their trash so it can be reused. Cans, bottles, cardboard, and metals are all recycled so they can be reused and kept out of landfills.
Salome is a combination retirement and farming community with crops of cotton, cantaloupe, and pistachio nuts among others planted three times a year. Greater Salome is a sleepy community of about 1,000 people in the summer time that swells to nearly 6,000 in the winter time as snowbirds return to their homes in Salome to escape the winter winds of northern climates.
Salome has four restaurants, three bars, four churches, three garages, four country stores including a Family Dollar, three gas stations, two propane vendors, two hardware stores, a beauty shop, and seasonal produce vendors within a few minutes of Desert Palms.
A regional medical clinic is 1/2 mile south of Desert Palms which has a helipad for helicopter medivacs. Parker, Wickenburg, and Surprise have hospitals with Del Webb in Surprise offering nearly all medical services.
Big box store shopping is a little over an hour away in Buckeye, Wickenburg, Parker, Blythe, or Surprise.
